Our dental office is one of very few in the entire country that has its own in-house CAD/CAM lab, which includes a 3D printer, milling machines, two ovens (for firing ceramics), microscopes, and plenty of additional technology that enables our team to make custom restorations and dentures. This gives us the ability to provide world-class dental prosthetics in record time, and if an adjustment ever needs to be made, we can do so without having to wait on an outside lab. At the Dent-Care Dental, you’ll enjoy premium speed and quality at the same time.
Fitting a restoration or denture into a patient’s mouth isn’t a simple process, but many dentists basically freehand it and hope for the best. Here, we use microscopes to make every crown, bridge, and denture absolutely perfect down to the last millimeter. This leads to more comfort, more durability, and a better-looking result as well.
Using advanced software, we’re able to design restorations 100% digitally, which elevates our precision and allows us to make refinements in a matter of seconds. This plan can then be sent to our 3D printer or one of our milling machines that will create exactly what we want, saving our team and the patient a tremendous amount of time.
3D printing technology is getting better and better with each passing year, and now, we’re able to print impressions, crowns, and dentures right in our dental office. This drastically cuts down on the turnaround time for patients, plus printing a replacement if needed is easy as well.
Before creating a restoration, we need to take an impression of a patient’s mouth so we can guarantee the ideal fit and appearance. Instead of using physical impressions, we can now create ones completely digitally in a matter of minutes, improving the speed and accuracy of this process.
After we have designed a patient’s restoration, it will be carved out of a single piece of dental porcelain by one of our milling machines. Our machines can do this much faster than a human lab technician, and the quality of the porcelain always results in a strong, natural-looking restoration.
Every single restoration we provide is 100% custom-made for each patient—we never use guides or premade designs. Crowns, bridges, and dentures are fabricated using sturdy materials that can be trusted to endure years of daily chewing, plus they are meticulously detailed to have a lifelike appearance. We also specially color our restorations so they blend seamlessly into any smile to create a uniform and attractive look our patients are eager to show off.
As the years go by, even a well-made denture will require some maintenance, and thanks to our in-house lab, we’re able to provide these types of services as well! If you ever accidentally drop and break your denture, or if it doesn’t seem to fit as securely as it used to, give us a call, and we’ll be able to help right away. Our onsite technology allows us to do repairs and relines often in a single day.
